Who?

Surf: Born in Guyana, lived in the US, Sweden, England and Germany.  I just started surfing in Europe (Ericeira 2017 surf trip). Home is Southern California, but there are sharks there, so I live in Sweden. 

Science: My last Academic post was a Post-Doctoral researcher at Imperial College London, before Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces and PhD studies at Linköping Universitet. Working on regenerating the heart after a heart attack. Obsessing about collagen, teaching undergrad and Masters' students to not hate science, and wondering why I can't just wear the same thing forever. 

Spotify: I had one DJ gig in Copenhagen, I did it with a Spotify playlist I made on the flight from London, Bawse! All posts have songs at the start. And there's a playlist. I am not a DJ.

I am learning to love the open water and trying my best to catch a wave and ride it. There's always some random song in my ears (not tinnitus), and a lot of love in my heart. But most of all I just want to laugh all day long. So weekends are for surfxploring and weekdays for working on understanding the fundamental nature of the world. Not too bad, huh?
